    We are looking for a Sr. Web Development Manager with full stack and Ruby on Rails experience to help us create our next generation web experience with the goal of increasing organic discovery, lead conversion and engagement.

    • You don’t mind being called a guru. You are up on industry tech trends and could teach us best practices on everything from frameworks to APIs, to back-end design and development. You enjoy guiding product teams to develop breakthrough solutions.

    The Sr. Web Development Manager will play a key role in the following: 

    • Web Development: You will manage the ongoing web production lifecycle and development process. You’ll lead the scoping, planning and implementation of web enhancements, email campaigns and strategic initiatives, alongside, our creative and product teams to ensure we’re building the best user experience. This role is also responsible for ongoing site maintenance, content updates, enhancements, design, bug fixes, new and feature releases.
    • Technical Expertise: You have experience with Ruby on Rails and can create clean, well-organized and structured code. You are capable of architecting sound technical solutions to meet business needs and can help troubleshoot complex technical problems involving multiple environment and application integration. You understand best practices for SEO and SEM and understand what it takes to deliver best-in-class online experiences.
    • Project Leadership: Working with Marketing leadership, you’ll help identify and prioritize requests and lead creative solutions, always ensuring that project work is completed on brand, on time and on budget. You will provide expert technical direction, communication and feedback to creative, business and IT teams, as well as third party developers.

    Our new Sr. Web Development Manager must possess the following experience, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate an ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or related field
    • 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience, with ideally 5 years in a lead role
    • Strong technical and design capabilities
    • Advanced web development and coding skills in responsive HTML, PHP, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, CSS, XML, CMS, Apache, Wordpress, Bootstrap and Foundation
    • Knowledge of architecture, databases, testing, and analytical methodologies with browser agnostic, hardware agnostic and response design techniques in providing optimal viewing experience on all platforms, Web User Interface Design (UI) Web User Experience (UX) Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP)
    • In-depth knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics and conversion tracking and optimization
    • You can get scrappy: Willing to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details.
    • Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
