YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT
We are looking for a Director of Brand Marketing to help us build strategic marketing campaigns across all of our media channels that elevate awareness of the Prometheus brand with super creative, story-based content. As the Director of Brand Marketing you will be responsible for leading our marketing team and external agency partners in creating integrated marketing initiatives and partnerships that build awareness, drive traffic, and increase conversion and engagement.

You wake up thinking about the creative process. You are passionate about pushing the creative process forward and never settle for “that’s probably good enough”. You do everything you can to ensure campaign work maintains a consistent look and “voice” and are a pro at getting content delivered on time and on budget by both agencies and internal teams.
You wear more hats than a Kentucky Derby crowd. You are just as comfortable managing large-scale creative and media-buy budgets as you are creating an Instagram photoshoot list for our social photographer to capture at a Neighbor event.
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Director of Brand Marketing will play a key role in the following:
Communications & Branding: The Prometheus brand voice and tone is infused into everything we do, and it’s your job to ensure it’s maintained consistently across all channels, including digital, social, events and physical environments. To do that you have to be a communications pro (particularly written) that can partner with our digital marketing team to develop creative testing opportunities for SEM, display, email and referral marketing initiatives to optimize performance.
Creative Process Management: It’s your job to lead team in the creative execution of content across all media channels to build awareness, drive traffic, and increase conversion and engagement. To do this you will need to develop and implement integrated marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects. You will help to facilitate creative reviews, schedules and budgets.
Creative Agency Management: You will serve as head of account for agencies assigned to multiple projects, leading development and execution of campaigns around brand, initiatives, and promotions. You will manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management.
Here’s more of the nitty-gritty: Our new Director of Brand Marketing must possess the following experience, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
8+ years’ experience as a brand marketing lead, running brand campaigns (digital, OOH, social, etc.) for a leading consumer brand
Demonstrated ability to build strategic campaigns and media that hit enterprise objectives
Big picture thinking — you know how the little details impact the big picture, and can adjust the former to impact that latter
You are not afraid to break norms, create new things, and think differently. In fact, it’s kind of what you are known for.
You hate “agency” copy that says a lot without saying anything at all. You never veer from your storytelling instincts.
You can get scrappy: When deadlines get tight and budget get tighter, you are great at making difficult decisions and finding hidden solutions.
