Our Mission

Prometheans are here to revolutionize the apartment industry, and we have over 500 of them who choose to call us HOME for their career. At Prometheus we believe the employment relationship is a two way street. Yes, we want you to earn a fair day’s pay for the work you do but, more importantly, we want you to feel that Prometheus is a HOME for your ideas and a career that helps you grow.

Your Role and Impact

Our Management Information Systems (MIS) Team is searching for a Business Solutions Analyst (Application Software Support) to help provide dedicated software support and analysis for our Operations and Accounting departments. In this role you will constantly be presented with new software challenges that have never been seen or resolved before, and that is exciting to you because you are someone with a natural curiosity, always trying to better understand what makes things work. When necessary, you know when to escalate challenges to the next level. Most importantly, you are driven by your attitude for support, ensuring our Prometheans have the tools they need to effectively do their job.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Customer Support – You have a “people first” mindset and are passionate about helping our Promethean users troubleshoot their software technology problems, most commonly relating to the Real Page suite of products, and other programs such as InfoTycoon, Wrike, Yardi, Concur, and more.
  • Project Management – Whether you are exploring the implementation of new technology with vendors, managing the integration and launch of new projects, piloting new software for our Neighborhoods, or QA testing with our Prometheans, you know how to efficiently manage your time and keep it all organized.
  • Financial Acumen – When it comes to debits, credits, Neighbor ledgers or account balances, you are able to speak the financial lingo with our Prometheans in the field or Home Office in order to fully support their software needs

Here’s More of the Nitty-Gritty:

  • You Can Take "On-Call" Support - You know our Neighborhoods never shut down just because our Home Office closes its doors Fridays around 5:30pm. You are able to participate in the rotational "On-Call" program, where you will remotely support our field Prometheans during off-hours and weekends. Of course you will have plenty of time to be "Off-Call", and we offer great vacation perks, including your birthday!
  • Your Experience - Property management or technology support is nothing new to you. You have been in the industry or on a Helpdesk for at least three years already and have a demonstrated passion for providing customer support. You have a strong knowledge and understanding in RealPage Property Management software or equivalent (with a preferred emphasis on backend processing).
  • Your Cultural Traits - Although we’re a highly dispersed organization by the nature of our business, our Prometheans are strongly united by our Purpose, Mission and our Cultural Traits, which are a blend of Team Oriented, Communicator, Entrepreneurial, Passionate, Self-Starter, Creative, Principled, and Brand Ambassador skills
  • Your Education - A Bachelor’s degree is preferred in one of the following: Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, Real Estate Management. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
